Scholarships
The West Sioux Educational Foundation provides a variety of scholarships to graduating seniors in the West Sioux School District to help them further their education at colleges and trade schools.The Foundation attempts to use its interest to benefit more students and teachers in the system through the above projects. We also assist families who wish to give scholarships by managing the financial gift, and for some, select the senior recipient for the scholarship. Currently scholarships that are awarded include:

- Miller and Earll Memorial
- Randy Reinking Memorial

- Each scholarship awards from $250 up to $1000 each year.
Zach Hulshof was the recipient of one of the West Sioux Educational Foundation scholarships. He is continuing his education at Morningside. Congratulations, Zach!
Kooper Walsh was the recipient of one of the West Sioux Educational Foundation scholarships. Kooper is continuing his education at SDSU. Congratulations, Kooper!
Andrea Curiel was the recipient of the Magdalene Miller, Harry Earll scholarship. Andrea is attending SDSU. Congratulations, Andrea!
Kailey Bak was the recipient of the Randy Reinking Memorial scholarship. She is continuing her education at SDSU. Congratulations, Kailey!
Jake Lynott was the recipient of 3 scholarships; Terry Huitink Memorial, Mary Jensen Memorial and Floyd (Bud) Kemper Memorial. He is continuing his education at Northwestern. Congratulations, Jake!
Samantha Salker was the recipient of one of the West Sioux Education Foundation scholarships and also the Timmer Anderson Memorial scholarship. She is attending Augustana University. Congratulations, Samantha!
Emma Pies was the recipient of the Magdalene Miller & Harry Earll Scholarship. She is attending WIT. Congratulations, Emma!
Katey Koopmans was the recipient of the Preston Juffer Memorial scholarship. She is attending the University of South Dakota. Congratulations, Katey!

We’re always looking for valuable new projects to fund. They have to be educationally sound and impact a large number of West Sioux students.
