Former WWE champion, New York State boxing champion and football and hockey all-star, Mark Mero presented his inspirational story to students at West Sioux High School last night.
Mero spoke on the topics of substance abuse, bullying and peer pressure — issues that our children deal with as they grow up.
He is also the founder of “Champion of Choices.”
West Sioux Educational Foundation hosted the event as a part of the “Ashley Cares” program, which focuses on addiction education in the school system.
Marc Mero poses between Scott and Gina Vreeman, who began the program “Ashley Cares” in honor of their daughter who passed away from substance abuse.
