The West Sioux Education Foundation is pleased to oversee seven annual scholarships. WSEF is committed to West Sioux Schools, education and our students. Along with grants, teacher awards, funding of school trips and other support offered; the scholarships we oversee and award are just one of the many ways we show this commitment. Every West Sioux graduating senior, regardless of GPA, who will be continuing their education, is eligible for any of these scholarships.
To be considered for these seven scholarships, you must properly complete this one application (see instructions below), include all information requested and return to the guidance counselor by April 15. Thank You and Good Luck.
Scholarships Available
- Award amount – $500
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
- Award amount – $1,000
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
- Award amount – $1,000
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
- Awarded every 4 years (The last one was given in 2018)
- The amount is based on the amount of interest earned (ranging from $750 – $1,000)
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
- The amount of the scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded is based on the interest earned each year. One or more scholarships will be awarded (ranging from $500 – $1,000 in value)
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
- Award amount – $1,000
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
- Award amount – $200 for a student who will be studying nursing.
- The amount will be paid to the institution at the beginning of the 2nd semester.

Application Instructions
Pay close attention to spelling and grammar, as these will be considered when deciding on the recipients of the scholarships. Be sure to include their name, address and phone number. Please include a copy of your transcripts. Do not include any photos.
Please return the completed application by April 15 to Mr. Sperle.
